Setting The Table For The 9th Annual Hope Lodge Bash!
by Barbara Viteri
Last night I hit up the 9th annual Hope Lodge Bash revealing 26 tablescapes meticulously styled by interior designers across the country. This year's theme was "Seasons of Hope". Each table literally told a seasonal story. There were tables adorned with wintery hues of white and ice blues, tables giving off almost a summer breeze with palms trees and caribbean green textures, flowery bloom scents of spring and my personal favorite, fall colors of rich burgundy and golds. All beautifully put together to celebrate and raise much needed funds for the American Cancer Society.
So let me quickly breakdown the amazing people and creative minds who pulled off one of the most coveted table decorating gala events here in NYC held at The Harmonie Club:
Designer Guillaume Gentet and architect David G. Carpenter, AIA along with philanthropists Ron and Sandy Diamond, jointly Co-Chair this ravishing event. With more than 300 guests comprised of New York’s socialites and top business executives including, Christina Cuomo, Editor-in-Chief of Modern Luxury’s MANHATTAN Magazine.
So who were the twenty-six renowned designers that transformed the grand ballroom of the historic Harmonie Club into a tablescape showcase themed, “Seasons of Hope”, representing the journey of a cancer patient, and the HOPE that each day brings from season to season? Well we need to shout out each of these fabulous designers and may I take this moment to tip my hat off to each of them as well.

I can't imagine how this fabulous event will be topped next year, but I have it on good authority it will. I am so proud of my dear friend and one of the kindest hearted designerlebrities in the industry, Guillaume Gentet. You are a marvel! Plus the man and his phenomenal team know how to throw a party!
