'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy' Reboot Selects Designerlebrity, Bobby Berk
Get excited Queer Eye fans! Designerlebrity has exclusively learned who will be the new interior designer on Netflix's reboot of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. It's celebrity interior designer Bobby Berk! No announcements have been made on the other chosen cast members to complete the Fab Five ensemble, but we are thrilled to be the first to confirm designerlebrity, Bobby Berk will be reprising the role of original cast member and designerlebrity, Thom Filicia.
Although TMZ, reported 'Queer Eye' OG Cast Won't Be Back For Reboot our sources tell us both NetFlix and the production company have been in negotiations to ensure the original Fab Five cast members have a cameo at least. In fact Designerlebrity was the first to get a statement from Thom's camp back in January of 2017:
Designerlebrity shared the word on the curb about Bobby Berk being the new design guy on Queer Eye, just last month. With the hype of more design show reboots like Will & Grace and season premiere hits like Flipping Out, it's our job to push the movement of spotlighting celebrity interior designer news and headlines. This is a big one and we are thrilled to share it first!
So is Bobby Berk the perfect choice for Queer Eye? With over 120K instagram followers and loyal interior design community following, he has major support to back him up. Plus the design chops and fun personality to get viewers and Queer Eye fans to binge watch. There is still no air date release, but again our sources have mentioned filming has yet to begin. We may be looking at a 2018 air date so get your design fix from the upcoming shows mentioned here till Netflix tells us when we can watch Queer Eye on our home screens.
